During my internship at Dyrdee Media we received a pitch for a Nickelodeon project. The creative directors knew I could build crafts and asked me to develop the paper crafts for the style frames. Just before the end of my internship we found out our idea had won the pitch. This was an incredible experience - my first ever commission, my first professional paper craft project, my first job as a freelancer, and working for a client as big as Nickelodeon!
Because we had to produce four whole stop motion animations, dyrdee Media also hired my friend Robert Löbel, and together we created all of the crafts, replacements and sets and animated everything too. It was three months of intense work.
This project has won the iF communication design award 2012 for best motion design.
